These terms and conditions (also named T&C) apply to all retail stores, websites and communications on the phone, by email or fax from Le Verre en Cave Sàrl, unless stated. These T&C are available on the company’s website (www.verreencave.ch) 24h/7 and 365 days per year. Consequently, each order imply complete acceptance without any restrictions to these T&C from the buyer.
The words «Merchandise», «product» and «services» in these T&C refer to all goods and services sold by Le Verre en Cave like wine, spirits, glasses, accessories, wine tasting courses but are not limited to these examples.

1) Le Verre en Cave Sàrl
www.verreencave.ch is owned by Le Verre en Cave Sàrl located at 27 rue des Eaux-Vives, 1207 Genève. CH-660.1.273.011-6

2) Retail/Selling price
All of our retail prices are in Swiss francs by unit, and are all inclusive of VAT (8% VAT) unless stated otherwise. These prices might change anytime and without notice. Prices related to corporate wine events are communicated on request with an estimate excluding VAT (VAT 8%) unless otherwise stated. Indicative prices communicated on the website related to corporate wine events do not constitute an offer or commitment from Le Verre en Cave to provide a service at a specific price, but guidance for your information only.

3) Available stock
All products indicated on the website or in any other communication such as email, telephone or fax or leaflets are available until stocks last, and do not constitute any commitment or offer from Le Verre en Cave to provide a product in indefinite quantities.

4) Merchandises and Services’ Orders and Booking
Merchandises can not be ordered without their prior full payment.
No merchandises will be booked until they are paid for beforehand and for the whole amount. Le Verre en Cave Sàrl will put aside some but not all available merchandise for clients for no more that 3 working days from time to time at le Verre en Cave discretion.
With regards to corporate events, no booking will be accepted until the estimate is accepted and returned signed and dated by the client, and payment for the deposit fully paid.
With regards to the wine tasting courses, we require prior payment. There will be no course booking confirmation without full payment of the due course.

5) Personnal data and Payment Security for the online shop

Personnal data provided on our website such as name, address, phone number or email address are securised and kept confidential and will never be transmitted to any third party.
Payments processed through our website are managed by PostFinance which is certified PCI DSS (https://www.postfinance.ch/content/dam/pf/de/image/seg/biz/product/eserv/epay/pci_certificate_img.jpg) and uses the most recent technology against fraud with the 3D-secure process which puts in relation the client and her or his bank for authentication. Le Verre en Cave will never access any of the payment data which are transmitted directly, securely and confidentially to PostFinance.

6) Merchandises and Services Payments
Merchandises and services are for immediate payment in cash or with credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, PostCard, Maestro, or American Express but from 100 frs only) at our physical shop rue des Eaux-Vives and with Visa Mastercard, PostFinance and PostCard for our online shop. For Corporate Events, a deposit of 50% will be requested prior to the date of the event to confirm booking. The balance will be due immediately when the balance invoice is received by the client.

7) Deliveries
Free from 250 frs of purchases, otherwise a standard fee of 20 frs will be applied.
How long does it take to receive my order? You would need to add preparation time to delivery time. Deliveries are usually completed in a maximum of 4 working days from the time of your payment.
1) Preparation time of your order
- For orders placed Monday to Thursday before 4pm -> orders ready for shipping the following day. Mon-Thursday after 4pm -> orders ready for shipping the next day.
- For orders placed on Friday before 4pm -> Orders ready for shipping on Monday.
- For orders placed between Friday at 4pm and Monday before 4pm (Saturday and Sunday included) -> orders ready for shipping on Tuesday.
2) Delivery Times
Cantons of Geneva, Vaud, Fribourg, Neuchatel, Valais = between 1 and 2 days
Other Cantons = Between 2 to 3 days
Deliveries will also be made on Saturdays.
3) Delivery means
For all Cantons apart from Tessin and Grisons, deliveries will be made by la Compagnie des Lacs with trucks.
For Tessin and Grisons, deliveries will be made by The Swiss Post.
4) Potential delivery issues and returns
Please let us know of any delivery problems by email (info@verreencave.ch) or by calling us (+41 22 736 51 00) within 24 hours after delivery is received. We will organise a return and/or exchange depending on the request.
Please call us with any query on +41 22 736 51 00. It is possible to deliver the same day in Geneva mostly.  
8) The « Grands Crus » at Le Verre en Cave

Le Verre en Cave categorises some wines you can try at Le Verre en Cave stores as “Grands Crus”. These wines come from categorised Grands Crus vineyards or any other high quality vineyards or famous wineries. They carry some rarity value sometimes but not always, and in any case they have a retail price of at least 70 frs CHF ttc per bottle.

9) Quantities rebate
10% discount will be applied from 18 bottles purchased. This rebate can not be used in conjunction with other rebates such as the “vins du mois” or any other already discounted bottle. Le Verre en Cave might change the rebates at anytime and without prior notice. There is no rebate for the online shop.

10) Corporate events and wine courses' cancelations 
The Client acknowledges that in making a reservation for an event at a specific date, Le Verre en Cave Sàrl has been prevented from making another booking for that date and has already paid for the booking of a venue, the services of staff and for wine and food required for the event. In the event that the client cancels or reschedules its request for the event within 30 days of the event date, the Client shall be liable for payment of the following:
- Within 15 days prior to the event date: 100% of the invoice will be due. - From 30 to 16 days prior to the event date: 50% of the invoice will be due.
With regards to the wine tasting courses, each booked participant willing to cancel or postpone to another session will be able to do so by giving one week notice prior to the course's date to Le Verre en Cave (for instance, last day to cancel the Thursday's course is on the Thursday of the week before). Past this date, neither reimbursement nor postponement will be made.

11) Ownership

All merchandise remains the property of Le Verre en Cave Sàrl until its payment is received in full.

12) Returned merchandise for exchange
All returned merchandise needs to be in good selling order and with the receipt ticket of the transaction otherwise it can not be accepted for exchange. Le Verre en Cave Sàrl will exchange the returned merchandise with another of same retail value, or will issue a credit certificate. There will be no reimbursement of returned merchandise. For returns of products bought on the website, please see paragraph no 7 related to deliveries.

13) Corked bottles
Corked bottles will be exchanged or replaced with another product with same retail value under the following conditions:
- The bottle needs to be at 2/3 of its full volume with the original cork and the receipt ticket. - Exchange will be accepted after one year maximum of the original purchase date.- No Grands Crus or similar wines will be exchanged if corked or faulty (please refer to condition number 5 for the Grand Cru definition at Le Verre en Cave).- There will be no reimbursement of a corked bottle, but only exchange if the bottle qualifies for an exchange or replacement.- Le Verre en Cave Sàrl has got the right to challenge the corked taste of a returned bottle.

14) Gift and credit certificates validity
Gift and credit certificates are valid for 1 year after being issued.

15) Minimum Age
Le Verre en Cave complies with the Swiss legal age to buy and consume alcohol. You need to be at least 16 to buy or consume wine, and at least 18 to buy or consume spirits.
